A beautifully simple home with green floors

I'm always showing homes with white floors, black floors, wood floors and even concrete floors. But what about green floors?! This surprising twist to an otherwise (beautiful) simple, white Australian home looks utterly fab and tells us that perhaps we need to think outside the usual colour scope? To get the look it's important to balance it with other items in the same shade (note the green tap and accessories in the kitchen, vases on the dining room table and vintage scales by the fireplace). Love the mid-century furniture too...

A cosy interior space for a rainy day

Hi there! Posting from a very rainy London today, which immediately makes me want to withdraw inside with a nice cup of tea and some cool coffee table books. I'm thinking this beautiful space from the Norwegian home of Line from  Vintage Piken would be the perfect place to be this Tuesday morning. I've shown more of this beautiful space here - but you can never see enough of her home right?!

A stunning Dutch home blending old and new. And give-away winner....

Hello! I hope you had a wonderful weekend? I ended last week with a Dutch home tour and this week I'll start with one too (talk about going Dutch!). This one hundred year old farmhouse owned by Rosemarijn van Zandvoort of Skattejakt (check out her beautiful shop and blog) has been carefully restored using a blend of old and new. I think the old world rustic charm of the beams and wooden floor against the Scandinavian blonde wood and white walls (and a touch of poured concrete) looks truly fantastic, how about you?

They say time flies when you're having fun, and it is in this way that the past two years of blogging passed me by in the blink of an eye. Such fun I had, being able to expose and share my passion for the world's fastest moving yet full of iconic forevers industry called fashion. Together we loved and laughed about fashion, my dearest reader, it was always an honor to have you here. You gave me a stage to expose, and hopefully I gave you some inspiration instead. Being in favor of highlights and the right decision at the right time, I decided to close my fashion diary or so-said blog. Working like a hungry young lion in the fashion industry, triggered by freelance projects and starting up my own label ‘Les Soeurs’ together with my sisters, one has to make choices each  day. For me, this is to be able to insert quality and passion in everything I do.

Furthermore I feel ready to crawl out of my blogging-skin, being surrounded with so many established names and new talent coming up. Together with that, the bunch of fashion-groupies (“take my picture”) grows along: veils and headbands and bows and tongue-in-cheek handbags and girls wearing fluorescents and bright colors and mismatched plaids and textures and more furs than a zoo. My time is now to head back to the Essentials: fashion because of fashion, because of rich and indulging fabrics, because of craftsmanship, the perfect fit, the forever LBD. During the years I learned that what I love most, is working as a professional in the industry, creating, looking, admiring and learning from behind the scene, putting the big F of fashion up front. Because in the end that is what it is all about.
Yet I learned from a wise and epic woman, who was such a visionaire at her time and whose spirit still lives further in what I call forever fashion:

"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening." (Thanks CC!)

So for now it is an adieu, my dearest reader, but for sure we will meet again, in the name of fashion. In some store or someone's closet, somewhere, someday.

Caranya anda tinggal siapkan saja beberapa lembar daunt mint yang segar, haluskan daun mint dengan cara ditumbuk, jika daunt mint sudah halus maka anda oleskan tumbukan daunt mint ke bekas luka yang ada di kulit anda. cara ini bisa dilakukan minima; 2 kali sehari.

2. Dengan menggunakan lidah buaya

Kandungan yang tedapat dalam lidah buaya ternyata juga baik untuk kulit, lidah buaya mengandung asam amino dan lognin yang bisa menumbuhkan sel-sel baru, sel-sel baru ini yang akan menggantikan kulit bekas luka yang anda alami.

Caranya dengan : anda ambil lidah buaya secukupnya, anda ambil saja bagian dalamnya, lalu oleskan bagian dalam lidah buasa ke bekas luka yang ada pada kulit anda.

3. Dengan menggunakan buah mengkudu

Buah mengkudu juga katanya bisa untuk menghilangkan bekas luka secara alam.

Caranya anda tinggal siapkah buah mengkudu yang sudah matang, haluskan buah mengkudu menggunakan blender hingga halus, lalu buah mengkudu yang sudah halus anda bubuhkan ke kulit bekas luka yang ada pada tubuh anda, tempelkan mengkudu halus pada kulit sekitar 20 menit, lalu jika sudah anda basuh dengan air

4. Menggunakan madu murni

Kandungan yang terdapat pada madu memang baik untuk tubuh kita, dan salah satunya yaitu untuk menghilangkan bekas luka secara alami pada tubuh anda.

Caranya cukup mudah karena anda tinggal mengoleskan madu ke kulit anda.

A touch of Autumn in a stunning Dutch home

Hello November! Are you off to enjoy the Autumn colours this weekend (those of you in the Northern hemisphere at least!)? If so pick a branch or two for me. After all, who needs flower shops when the most beautiful plants and flowers are right outside our door*.
